Mary Lorentz, a retired business office worker from Saint Mary’s Hospital in Cottonwood, Idaho is the most recent winner of a free adjustable bed in Easy Rest’s Win-A-Bed Sweepstakes. Lorentz was the monthly winner in November 2016 but took some time to accept delivery of her prize. Her new adjustable bed was delivered to her on February 2, 2017.

Lorentz, a life-long resident of the area and one of only 900 people in her town, received the certified mailing informing her that she’d won the prize but initially thought it was a hoax. “I got the paperwork in the mail and I thought it was a scam and didn’t believe it. I actually waited quite some time and then had my kids research the company and the sweepstakes on the Internet. They told me that it seemed legitimate and that I should return the paperwork, so I did,” said Lorentz.

“At first I didn’t remember entering the contest but after thinking about it I did remember seeing the postcard in a magazine. I filled it out on a whim and sent it in. I only ever entered the contest one time,” recalled Lorentz.

“When I finally contacted the company to accept the prize I told the lady on the phone that I didn’t even need a new bed. But she convinced me to take it because she said it’s absolutely free and I could put it in my guest room if I wanted. There were no strings attached so I said okay, go for it,” said Lorentz. “I didn’t think I would like the bed and I thought it was going to be a very cheap thing since it was free.”

“The bed has been good and it sleeps perfectly. It’s a very good quality and the mattress is comfortable and supportive. I like to raise the bed up to read and I enjoy that. When I’m reading I raise the feet a little bit to keep me from sliding down and it’s comfortable for reading,” she explained. “I don’t use the adjustability features for sleeping. I don’t have any health issues that would require me to raise my head or feet when I’m sleeping. It would have been very helpful for my husband when he was alive because he did have health issues that would have benefited from adjusting the bed,” she added.

“I would definitely recommend the Easy Rest adjustable bed to other people. I’ve told everyone about it and I think many people could benefit from the features. I’m perfectly satisfied and I wouldn’t trade it for a different bed.”

Sharron Dorsey, a custodial worker at Robert Gray Elementary School in Prince George’s County, Maryland is the latest winner of an adjustable bed in Easy Rest’s Win-A-Bed Sweepstakes. A mailing from Easy Rest Adjustable Sleep Systems changed the winning streak for a Philadelphia man. Leslie Harris never won anything of substantial value in his life prior to last month.  Now, he’s sitting pretty on his new adjustable bed.

Laconia, NH – 2014 — Laconia, NH City Councilman wins Easy Rest free bed lottery and donates adjustable bed to his church’s Guest House for senior citizens. The thought crossed his mind that it might be a bed scam lottery but quickly realized it was a legitimate contest.

Armand Bolduc has spent his entire life in Laconia, New Hampshire farming and helping others.
